Hugest bummer ever was when we realized that cassettes had been fully re-embraced not long after we finally decided to get rid of our tape player. After fishing it out of the dumpster (buying a new one) we too were ready for the movement, and just in time. FADER contributor Scott Wright has mp3s of the new Hounds of Hate/Hype Williams (not to be confused with White Williams or the actual Hype Williams) split cassette, in which each artist supplies the music for one side, allowing the other artist to add and subtract as needed. If you're in the mood for weird synth experiments, snatches of great song ideas and blown-speaker drums then this is the tape (or mp3) for you. British people who still have tape players can buy the thing here. Everyone else can download both sides below. (via Pinglewood)
