Every year, reputable New York photographer and filmmaker Cheryl Dunn goes to Bonnaroo to document the low-grade mayhem, high-grade elicit substance use and some of the biggest musicians in the world playing for tens of thousands of their muddiest, smelliest fans in the middle of nowhere Tennessee. This year she sent us a bunch of her favorite photos from the three days she was there and we set it to the sounds of one of our favorite recent Animal Collective live staples. While you watch the slideshow, go to Largehearted Boy for an extensive and sort of mindblowing collection of recordings from the festival.
