Pop unconventionalist Esser frequently puts together excellent mixtapes of just the right length, about 20 minutes, a handy grab bag of the dubstep, weirdo rock and classics he's jamming. To celebrate his first American tour (stopping in NYC on Monday!) he's made an "America" mixtape that kicks off with the "America" song from West Side Story, transitions into some crazy dancehall mixed with tablas, and blows it all out with Patrick Juvet's disco classic "I Love America."
