Every couple of weeks we meet up with some of our favorite artists at Heathers Bar in the East Village. They play songs while everyone else ties on one.
Since putting Sweden's Love is All on the cover of FADER 37, we've seen them perform on the beach, street corners, basements and subway platforms, so we weren't sure what to expect from these veterans of unusual performance spaces when we invited them to come hang out with us. What we got was an internet video epic featuring a tiny keyboard, a "surprise" saxophone performance, a hurt hand and creative use of props found in the bar. Love is All are currently making the rounds to promote their sophomore album A Hundred Things Keep Me Up at Night, which will be released through What's Your Rupture? on November 11th.
