Fedoras and futbol sneakers thoroughly bedonned, Chikita Violenta just finished their dreamy, guitar-effects-pedal'd and scrumptiously harmonizing set at the Levi's®/FADER Fort. Texas bedarned: these guys are straight Mexico City 100%, 24-7, as you may know from David Bevan's "Mexico City Rock" feature in FADER 51. For their FIRST SHOW OUTSIDE MEXICO CITY!!!, the charming 5-piece were amazingly on point and amazingly gracious. They also make the ladies among us want to move to Mexico basically immediately. We are kind of sad New York is not a (MX) border state. Maybe next time. CHECK IT.
