We are all for dudes we put on the cover finding happiness with their significant others and making upbeat and/or endearing jams with the assistance of said significant other (see Bill Callahan and Joanna Newsom), so it's cool that FADER cover star of F36 Dan Bejar of Destroyer and Swan Lake and a bunch of other stuff decided to do a whole album with his girlfriend Sydney Vermont as Hello, Blue Roses. You can check "Shadow Falls" below and listen as it climbs a huge sappy ladder of ambient synths and leaves you all warm and thinking about Titanic because like, that movie was about LOVE. Actually though, we love when these Canadians do these random projects because they generally turn out to be totally worth listening to and we're sure this one will be no different.
