Tyla speeds away from her ex in “Truth or Dare” video

Tyla has shared the music video for her December track “Truth or Dare,” a cut from her forthcoming, self-titled LP. Directed by Nabil, the clip follows the South African singer as she and her friend make a high-speed getaway from an ex who won’t let things go. Tyla delivers most of the song hanging out of the car window with her jilted lover and the police in hot pursuit, but never looking fazed. When he finally catches up to her, she steals his keys and takes off again, leaving him to deal with the cops.

“Truth or Dare” is one of five singles Tyla has shared from her debut album, including “Water,” one of our favorite songs of 2023. Tyla is due out March 22 via FAX and Epic Records.
