Solange has launched a new website through BlackPlanet, a social media platform launched in 1999 for people of color. See it here, and find Solange's Twitter announcement below:
The main page of Solange's profile plays a looped video depicting three black women in what looks to be a bank vault. At one point, two of them start doing cosmic movements with their hands. At the top of the page you can find links to her previously announced European tour dates, a form to subscribe to her newsletter, and her "Dossier," a photobook containing dozens of beautiful snaps.
In October, Solange said her follow-up to 2016's A Seat At The Table would be released in the fall, but the project has yet to emerge. She described the music to T as "warm, fluid, and more sensual," and that the project's release would take place "at some mysterious and unexpected moment.”
