Lana Del Rey has offered up a preview of new song "Cherry." The song has previously been performed live by the singer and is expected to appear on her new album Lust For Life, due on July 21.
The preview clip comes courtesy of V, whose July cover Del Rey appears on. Speaking to Stevie Nicks for the cover story, Del Rey said her new music was inspired by the political climate in which it was written. “Regardless of where someone is at personally, the current landscape jolts you into being present, if you’re not crazy," she said. "If you’re a normal person, you’re suddenly aware and watching everything.”
Del Rey first announced Lust For Life back in February alongside the single "Love." The Weeknd features on the title track while Stevie Nicks will appear on a song titled "Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems." She also hinted that the album will feature a track with A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti.
