The Atlanta-based rapper’s album Cali Boy Down South is out now.

Joseph Tom became a Bay Area mainstay when he was known as JT The Bigga Figga, then followed his close associate Zaytoven to Atlanta and changed his alias to Figg Panamera. His 21 Savage-featuring single "Money Talk" is an underground trap anthem with cascading '70s horror film melodies, and the video, premiering today on The FADER, depicts Figg and 21 mobbing in a red-lit hell room.

Figg called the song "self-explanatory" in an email to The FADER. "In the streets a lot of times, you might be in situations where your conversation might not work. But if you put that money on the table, you can get a lot of things done. It’s savagery. It’s gutta, it’s underground, it’s mob-oriented. Money moves the pieces on the board. It’s chess, not checkers. It’s bad guy shit, nothing nice about it, nothing positive about it. When things go bad, you let that money talk."
