Binx Walton might be making headlines today for slightly shading Kendall Jenner, but we're more into the drama of her new Nike womenswear campaign, a collaboration with Comme de Garçon alum Chitose Abe's label, Sacai. According to Business of Fashion, Abe "began work on the eight-piece collection by mining the Nike archives, pulling references from the company's running, tennis and American football lines. She turned to traditional pieces and silhouettes, which she reworked to create functional yet feminine sportswear in bright colours." The collection relies heavily on the advanced fabrics in Nike's wheelhouse, like Tech Fleece and a newly developed mesh lace. There's only two promotional images as of yet, but Abe's line is looking like a more playful, avant-garde take on sportswear than we've been seeing the past couple years. There will also be slip-on, wedge heel iterations of Nike Dunks and Air Maxes.
