The label is marking its 25th anniversary with a gorgeous coffee table book.
Beloved indie Ghostly International marks its 25th anniversary this year. To celebrate, the New York City-based label is publishing a beautiful new glossy coffee table book that dives into its storied history.
We'll Never Stop Living This Way: A Ghostly International Catalogue will be published on November 21 via Haymarket Books and will contain 500 pages of unseen photos, exclusive essays by critics Michaelangelo Matos and Philip Sherburne, and oral histories with artists across its roster. You can pre-order the limited edition run now for a cool $75.
Artists like Julie Byrne, Hana Vu, Kate Bollinger, and Kllo all call Ghostly International home. Founder Sam Valenti IV started the label in his University of Michigan dorm room in 2000 when he was 19 years old. Now based in Brooklyn, the label has signed hundreds of artists and expanded to include several imprints including the R&B and hip-hop focused drink sum wtr, the home of Say She She and Annahstasia, and its electronic offshoot Spectral Sound, behind Avalon Emerson, Seth Troxler, and Hieroglyphic Being.
