Watch a trailer for Harmony Korine’s AGGRO DR1FT, starring Travis Scott
A new look at the new film from the director of Spring Breakers.
Harmony Korine’s latest film AGGRO DR1FT will get a wide release this year after its 2023 premiere at the Venice Film Festival, and today you can see a new trailer for the experimental thriller feature, which co-stars Travis Scott. The entire film is shot with thermal cameras, giving it the feeling of a video game cut scene. Adding to that vibe is the voiceover from Jordi Mollà, the actor who leads the film as a hitman in a devastated world. “The old world is no more,” he growls at the beginning. “No more truths. I was born to kill.” Watch the trailer above, and read our review of the film here.
Aside from AGGRO DR1FT‘s premiere, Travis Scott spent the year preparing for the July release of his album Utopia. The album featured Drake, The Weeknd, Kanye West, 21 Savage, Rob49, and others. He’s currently touring behind the project. Last September, he sat down for a deposition in the ongoing civil lawsuit against alleging his culpability in the 2021 Astroworld tragedy, where 10 people were killed and thousands injured in a crowd surge during Scott’s headlining set at his annual festival. Houston Police cleared him of possible criminal charges in the summer.
