Jennifer Lopez confirms This Is Me... Now release plans
The joint album and film will be available early next year
Jennifer Lopez is due to return to music in 2024 with This Is Me... Now. The project will be an album and accompanying film, both of which will be released on February 16.
Lopez first announced This Is Me... Now a year ago but confirmed the release plans on Monday. This Is Me…Now: The Film will debut on Prime Video on the same day the album is released. The visual part of the release is described as a narrative-driven reflection on her journey to find love.
A single from This Is Me... Now titled "Can't Get Enough" will be released on January 10. The album title is a reference to J. Lo's 2003 album This Is Me... Then with the new project also said to include "Dear Ben Pt.II," a sequel to her 2002 song about Ben Affleck. The pair split in 2004 before reuniting in 2021 and marrying a year later.
This Is Me... Now will be Lopez's first album since 2014's A.K.A.. Last year she released "Marry Me" with Maluma, taken from the soundtrack to the movie of the same name. She recently put her name to an open letter calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
