Green Day announce 2024 world tour dates
The pop-punk veterans will be joined by Smashing Pumpkins and Rancid for the North American leg of the Saviors Tour.
Green Day have confirmed details of The Saviors Tour, which will take them across the world in 2024. As the band previously revealed, they will be joined by Smashing Pumpkins for the North American stage of the tour, with Rancid and The Linda Lindas also joining them.
The Saviors Tour is scheduled to kick off in Europe in June. Support at those shows will come from Nothing but Thieves, the Hives, Donots, the Interrupters, and Maid of Ace. The North American leg then starts in Washington, DC on July 29 before wrapping at San Diego's Petco Park on September 29.
The tour will celebrate a trio of Green Day albums; the forthcoming Saviors, the 30th anniversary of Dookie, and 20th anniversary of American Idiot.
“We’ve never been more excited to unleash new music than with Saviors, a record that’s meant to be rocked live, together. So let’s thrash,” the band say in a press release. “We’ve got some amazing friends who are coming along for the ride!”
Tickets will be available via various pre-order plans from November 7 before the general sale starts on Friday, November 10 at 10 am local time.
