Watch Bad Bunny play Shrek (and some music) on Saturday Night Live
Watch sketches and two musical performances from BB’s SNL appearance.
Bad Bunny was the musical guest and host for the second episode of Saturday Night Live's 49th season. He performed the songs "Monaco" and "Un Preview" from his new album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana (which will debut at No. 1 this week on the Billboard 200, his third album to do so) and starred in a bunch of sketches.
In one of them, he dressed up like Shrek and pitched a sequel to the Please Don't Destroy sketch troupe. In another, he did a telenovela parody with Mick Jagger. Pedro Pascal cameoed in two other bits, once as Bad Bunny's overprotective mother and again during the monologue as his translator. There was a bit involving nuns, another with a rap battle, and one where Bad Bunny plays a king upset with the discoveries of his explorer, played by Fred Armisen. As far as SNL sketches in 2023 go, you could do a lot worse. Watch them below.
