Charlotte Hornets and MrBeast launch first ever creator-NBA partnership deal
The YouTuber will promote his Feastables logo on the basketball team’s uniform.
YouTube mogul MrBeast has struck a deal with the Charlotte Hornets, ESPN reports. The internet sensation will be advertising his chocolate bar company, Feastables, on their uniforms through a jersey patch as well as their media backdrops for news conferences.
MrBeast is a North Carolina native who was raised in Greenville. This partnership marks the first collaboration between a creator-led brand and an NBA franchise. The Feastables logo will also be displayed on the Greensboro Swarm and the Hornets Venom GT uniforms. The candy brand has also become an official partner of the Greensboro Swarm and Hornets Venom GT.
“We are thrilled to welcome Feastables and North Carolina native MrBeast into our Hornets family,” Hornets' Sports & Entertainment President and Vice Chairman Fred Whitfield told NBA.com. “We are excited to have this opportunity to introduce MrBeast’s fans to the Hornets and the Feastables brand to NBA fans around the world through our jersey patch. We are confident this innovative, new partnership will be significantly beneficial for everyone involved.”
Feastables board member Reed Duchscher told NBA.com: “This partnership is a first of its kind, and I am excited to see how creator-brands and the NBA continue to work together into the future. The Hornets are obviously one of the most exciting teams in the NBA and are a favorite among young people, so Feastables could not be more excited to partner."
