Peso Pluma shares new album Génesis
The newly minted corridos tumbados superstar is back with a new full-length.
Peso Pluma is throwing gasoline onto the fire of his overnight superstardom with Génesis, a brand new album. Announced last week, the third LP from the Mexican artist sports the songs “Rosa Pastel” featuring Jasiel Núñez, “ “77” featuring Eladio Carrión, and “Bye.”
The project comes as Pluma reigns as a leader of corridos tumbados, a strain of regional Mexican music lightly influenced by Latin trap. “Ella Baila Sola,” his song with Eslabon Armado, reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 this spring. Earlier this month he teamed up with Argentine producer Bizarrap for the 55th installment of BZRP Music Sessions.
