Eem Triplin flies high in his “Tell Me I’m Right” video
The Pennsylvania rapper returns with new music and news of an upcoming EP.
Eem Triplin first emerged as an artist in his own right last year when he shared "Awkward Freestyle," a track that sampled Tyler, The Creator's 2013 song of the same name. Prior to that he had been more known as a producer, contributing beats for artists including $NOT and Duwap Kaine. Since then he has released a string of stand-out tracks including "Let You Know" and "Walked In," named one of our Songs You Need back in January.
Today the Pennsylvania rapper has dropped new song "Tell Me I'm Right" alongside a dream-like visual that finds him floating through the California countryside in a vintage Mustang. It lines up nicely with Eem's lowkey beat and romantic raps, which include lines about holding off on love while he chases success in the music world.
Press materials for the video note that it will feature on an upcoming EP titled Still, though further details of that release remain TBC. Check out the "Tell Me I'm Right" video below.
