Shordie Shordie shares “Thug Life,” announces new project
A Life For Two is out April 28 via Warner.
Shordie Shordie first emerged out of Baltimore as a member of the rap trio Peso Da Mafia. Since splitting from the group, he’s distinguished himself as a potent voice in melodic rap, a cousin of 03 Greedo with a little more Jacquees poured into the mix. His catchy tales of romance and heartbreak have earned him a strong base of support over the years, and on April 28, he’ll share his new mixtape A Life For Two via Warner.
In the music video for its lead single, “Thug Life,” Shordie takes to the Las Vegas strip after a fight with his girl and croons about the hot-and-cold nature of a recent situationship. Check it out below.
Shordie’s last full-length, More Than Music, Pt. 2, arrived in July 2022. It included the singles “Tell The Truth“ featuring Mozzy and “The Wire“ featuring Rich Homie Quan, both playlisted for Songs You Need.
