Kendrick Lamar and Drake among winners at 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards

The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards took place at the Cobb Energy Centre in Atlanta on last week with an edited version for TV airing on Tuesday evening. The ceremony brought big name performances from Pusha T (including a surprise Clipse reunion), Lil’ Kim, Fivio Foreign, Moneybagg Yo, and Wu-Tang Clan. Among the winners at the ceremony were Kendrick Lamar, who picked up six trophies including Hip Hop Album of the Year for Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers , Drake, and breakout star Glorilla.
Kendrick Lamar won six awards in total, and was named Hip Hop Artist of the Year as well as Best Live Performer and Lyricist of the Year. Drake, meanwhile, tied with himself in the Best Featured Verse category.
