It’s Almost Dry topped the Billboard 200 in its first week, gifting the rapper his first chart-topping album.
Pusha T's It's Almost Dry has debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200, giving the rapper his first-ever chart-topping album.
It’s Almost Dry sold 55,000 equivalent album units in its first week, through a combination of streaming, physical purchases, and downloads. Billboard notes that 83% of the units earned came via streaming with the 55,000 figure being the lowest sales needed for a No. 1 album since 2017 when NF reached the summit with Perception.
It's Almost Dry is Pusha T's follow-up to 2018's Daytona, which peaked at No.3. His previous album, King Push – Darkest Before Dawn, reached No.20 in 2015.
Pusha T's latest effort was produced half by Kanye West and half by Pharrell. The album credits list includes contributions from Lil Uzi Vert, Don Toliver, plus the singles “Diet Coke,” “Hear Me Clearly,” and Jay-Z collaboration “Neck & Wrist.”
