Vince Staples and Mustard share new video for “Magic”
The lead single of Ramona Park Broke My Heart gets the visual treatment.
Vince Staples has shared a music video for "Magic," the lead single of his upcoming album Ramona Park Broke My Heart. "Magic" was produced by West Coast juggernaut Mustard, who provides a breezy G-Funk beat that Staples floats over. The video was directed by duo KENTEN and features a series of surreal one-take sequences. It opens with a beaten-up Staples buying frozen vegetables to ice his face as the cashier looks at him inquisitively. The video then flashes back to earlier in the day to show how Vince ended up in this situation. Mustard makes a cameo at the party, too. Check out the video below.
Ramona Park Broke My Heart is set to be released in April. Staples originally announced the project in April of last year. Alongside that, he announced his self-titled album, which was one of The FADER's favorite albums of 2021, and a Netflix show. So far this year, Staples has appeared on tracks alongside Raveena and long-time collaborator Kilo Kish.
