Buddy announces new album Superghetto, shares new song featuring Blxst
The Los Angeles rapper’s sophomore album arrives March 25.
Los Angeles rapper Buddy has returned with a new song "Wait Too Long" that features fellow Angeleno and rising rapper/singer Blxst. Alongside the new single and video, Buddy has announced his forthcoming sophomore album Superghetto is slated to be released March 25 via Cool Lil Company and RCA Records. "Wait Too Long" is a breezy, R&B-tinged track that makes me want to go back and listen to some Overdoz and other 2010s L.A. rap staples. Check out the Obsidian-directed video below.
In 2020, Buddy and Overdoz's Kent Jamz released their collaborative project Janktape Vol. 1 Buddy's debut album Harlan & Alondra was released in 2018. It included singles "Shameless," the A$AP Ferg-featuring "Black," and "Shine." In 2019, he shared a deluxe version of Harlan & Alondra that added four new songs, including "Cubicle" with 03 Greedo.
