The rapper has pled not guilty to the charges from earlier this month.
G Herbo shared a new song "Statement" on Friday, seeing the rapper address his federal fraud charges from earlier this month.
The track finds him maintaining his innocence against charges that include aggravated identity theft and aiding and abetting a larger fraud scheme. “Let’s talk about this paper/Let’s talk about them jets,” he raps on the track. “Yeah let’s talk about Jamaica/Yeah ask about me, I ain’t never been a fraud.”
The rapper faces a 14-count indictment that alleges he and a number of associates used stolen payment and card account information to “obtain valuable goods and services" valued at over $1 million including car rentals, private jet charters, and more from businesses and individuals over a 4 year period. G Herbo has pled not guilty to the charges. He faces six years in prison if convicted.
