Girl Ultra connected with Madrid-based singer Paula Cendejas on their latest video "Ojos Negros." With pounding, Oddliquor-helmed production, the track sees the pair trade verses on the hopeless romanticism of a glance. The video, filmed in Mexico City, finds them going through the motions of an all-encompassing relationship, only to start fresh in the end.

"When we wrote the song, we wanted to talk about love, and the power that a gaze can have over you," Girl Ultra explained via email. "It destroys you, it revives you and then it destroys you again. The kind of love that leaves you waiting for the next chance encounter."

The track, which Paula Cendejas says came together in a single night, got its first push from a chance social media interaction. "I reached out to [Girl Ultra] through Twitter and suggested that we write a song together," Cendejas said. "She loved the idea, so we took advantage of her European tour to get together in Oddliquor's Madrid studio."
