Mike Skinner shares The Streets’ new single “Where the Fuck Did April Go”
The B-side to “Call My Phone Thinking I’m Doing Nothing Better.”
Mike Skinner is currently gearing up to release None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive, his first new project as The Streets in almost a decade. The mixtape is due out on July 10, but rather than put out another song from the record, Skinner has released “Where the Fuck Did April Go,” the B-side to the album's Tame Impala-featuring first single "Call My Phone Thinking I'm Doing Nothing Better."
"I wrote this last week. It’s a weird time isn’t it," Skinner said in a press release, understating things a little. "We were looking forward to the summer just like everyone else, festivals and gigs all there, new music, new stage set — but this has taken the wind from everyone’s sails. And none of us know quite how to cope with it all. I just wrote a tune the same way other people might talk to a therapist!"
