Aminé tours Portland in the “Shimmy” video

Aminé is putting on for his home town of Portland, Oregon in the music video for "Shimmy," his just-released first single of 2020. The song is produced by Boi-1da, who knows a thing or two about crafting a thumping comeback single. This one interpolates Ol' Dirty Bastard's "Shimmy Shimmy Yaw," a much more unconventional statement of authority than "Shimmy." Aminé a.k.a. Adam Daniel co-directs the video alongside Jack Begert, taking the viewer through different sights in Portland through the eyes of someone who's very famous. Check it out at the top of the page.
