Bright Eyes announce reunion and live dates
Conor Oberst’s band are back after a nine year break.
Bright Eyes have reunited after a hiatus that lasted nearly a decade. The band, Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nathaniel Walcott, will signed to Dead Oceans ahead of a new album due in 2020.
Bright Eyes last album, The People’s Key was released in 2011. Since then Oberst has released two solo albums and, last year, teamed up with Phoebe Bridgers for their Better Oblivion Community Center project.
The first Bright Eyes show of 2020 will take place on March 23 in Tokyo, Japan. They will then play two Los Angeles shows at the Palladium as well as a New York date on June 20. Japanese Breakfast and Lucy Dacus will support at the New York date, which will take place at Forest Hills Stadium. Bright Eyes will end the summer playing U.K. festival End Of The Road.
