Watch Meek Mill in a new trailer for Charm City Kings
The coming-of-age dirt bike movie is based on a story co-written by Moonlight’s Barry Jenkins.
Charm City Kings is an upcoming drama film based on Baltimore's renowned dirt biker crews. The film is directed by Angel Manuel Soto, and today, the film's first trailer premiered — the minute-long snippet features an appearance from Meek Mill. Check it out above. Mill plays Blax, the leader of a dirt bike crew called The Midnight Clique who becomes a mentor to the film's main character, Mouse (played by Jahi Di’Allo Winston).
The film will premiere January 27 at the Sundance Film Festival before a wide release in April. Charm City Kings is based on the 2013 documentary 12 O'Clock Boys, and is written by Sherman Payne based on a story co-written by Moonlight's Barry Jenkins. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith co-produce the film along with James Lassiter.
