Watch a video for the band’s new song “Paper Cup,” featuring Sylvan Esso.
Indie rock band Real Estate will release new album The Main Thing next month. The band's fifth album is out February 28 and is preceded by lead single "Paper Cup." The single features vocals from Amelia Meath of Sylvan Esso and comes with a video chronicling the final performance in the life of a giant animatronic squirrel named Chipper. Check it out below.
The Main Thing is the follow-up to 2017's In Mind and marks the first time Real Estate have worked with outside instrumentalists and featured artists. The album includes contributions from Meath, plus Matt Barrick of The Walkmen and Aaron Johnston of Brazilian Girls.
Real Estate will head out on a 24-date North American tour in April. Support comes from Palm, Meg Baird, and Itasca. Scroll down to see the dates below.
