Camila Cabello drops Romance, feat DaBaby, Shawn Mendes, Finneas
Camila Cabello’s new record includes a new track with DaBaby and one produced by Finneas, Billie Eilish’s brother.
Camila Cabello has released Romance, her sophomore solo record. First announced earlier this year with the release of singles “Shameless” and “Liar,” Romance also features the already-released tracks “Living Proof,” Shawn Mendes collaboration “Señorita,” “Easy,” and “Cry For Me." It also features a new collaboration with DaBaby titled “My Oh My.” Much of the album was made with regular collaborator Frank Dukes; notably, the song “Used To This” was produced by Finneas, Billie Eilish’s brother and producer of Eilish’s debut record WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? Listen to Romance below.
Yesterday, The FADER released a cover story on Cabello’s former Fifth Harmony bandmate Normani for this year’s NOW issue; in the extensive interview, Normani declines to comment explicitly on her relationship with Cabello, but says she “spoke to [Camila] at the Billboard Music Awards,” and that there’s “no bad blood at all.” Read the full cover story, Normani’s true self, here.
