Wyoming officials have ordered Kanye West to halt construction on his ranch
He did not have a construction permit.
Wyoming officials have ordered Kanye West to stop building one of his Monster Lake Wyoming ranches without a construction permit, TMZ reports and Complex notes. Kanye had reportedly submitted an application to build a 70,684-square-foot amphitheater on his property to be used as a “meditation space.” The Park County Planning and Zoning Commission was supposed to announce its decision regarding that permit on Tuesday, but the permit was voided when Kanye changed the building’s purpose to “residential use.” However, Kanye and his hired construction workers were reportedly already building the ranch, and continued to do so after county officials visited the property.
