City Girls drop “JT First Day Out,” JT’s first new song since release from prison
Produced by Mississippi’s Twysted Genius.
JT, one half of ascendant Miami rap duo City Girls along with Yung Miami, has been released after spending over a year in prison for credit card fraud. To celebrate, JT and Miami have released “JT First Day Out,” JT’s first new track since her release. Produced by Mississippi producer Twysted Genius, “JT First Day Out” was announced by JT herself on her social media channels. “You Bitches Could Neva,” she wrote on Instagram, “10p est #JTfree.” Listen to “JT First Day Out” below.
While JT was serving a two year sentence, news that she would be home early broke in August, after Quality Control co-founder Pierre Thomas said that the rapper would be home "within the next 90 days." Earlier this year Miami, who is currently pregnant with her second child, was shot at in a drive-by shooting. She and her child were unharmed.
