Mallrat shares her top five tips for thrifting
The Australian pop singer will help you locate treasures among trash.
If you ask us, Mallrat's special brand wide-eyed, sincere pop is criminally underrated. The 20-year-old Australian artist, now splitting her time between Melbourne and Los Angeles, has shared her third EP, Driving Music, today: six songs that find the singer drilling deep into the sparkly nature of her pure songs; one of them, "Charlie" is about her dog, which means it's almost impossible not to like. Mallrat, who's also an expert thrifter as well, recently stopped by The FADER offices to offer her five tips for locating treasures among (so-called) trash. She shares stories behind some of her most recent scores — including a vintage Versace choker that was also worn by Rosalía and Megan Thee Stallion. Watch above.
