A classic gin martini is the perfect fall drink

A martini is strong, tasty, and classic.

Summer is officially over. Have you considered what your official fall drink is going to be? Sure, you could drink beer or red wine, but why would you? There are plenty of drinks that are more exciting, more interesting, and, honestly, just a tiny bit classier. Take, for example, a classic gin martini. It's delicious and easy to make, and once you try it you won't want to stop. In terms of ingredients, we recommend Bombay Sapphire, Hendricks, Tanqueray, New Amsterdam, McQueen and the Violet Fog for gin, and whatever you can find for white vermouth — there aren't many brands anyway.

To make a gin martini, pour two parts gin and a few drops of vermouth into a large stirring glass filled with ice. Stir the drink with a swizzle stick for 30-45 seconds, before straining into a chilled cocktail glass. Cut a thin strip of lemon peel, rub it around the rim, and enjoy.
