Infamous dancehall star Squash, founder of Jamaica’s 6ix Movement, bares it all in his new single “Never Die” premiering here on The FADER.
We see another side of the artist as he lays honest lyrics professing his love for his woman atop an infectious riddim produced by Okino “IAMWAV” Thomas. “The inspiration behind ‘Never Die’ is definitely based off of a real story and what I have experienced. It's real life, it's reality, I got into a situation with my girlfriend and I mean that’s the way the song came about. It’s reality,” shares the artist over email.
Listen to “Never Die” from Squash above, a featured, exclusive track off of VP Records’ annual and much anticipated Reggae Gold 2019 compilation album set to be released tomorrow.
