Jlin has scored a trippy-looking new video game
Songs of the Lost features new compositions from the Indiana-born artist.
Gary, Indiana producer Jlin has written and produced a score for Songs of the Lost, a new video game commissioned for Manchester's annual Manchester International Festival, as Pitchfork points out. The trippy-looking video game was designed by developer Paloma Hawkins, using a combination of both 2D and 3D animation. Watch a trailer for the video game below; it looks absolutely wild.
Songs of the Lost is available to play now; find more information here. It's unknown as to whether Jlin's score will become widely available. Last year, Jlin released Autobiography, a score for a new ballet composed by Wayne McGregor. In the same year, she contributed to the Adult Swim singles series and gave a lecture at the Red Bull Music Academy.
