Pi’erre Bourne announces The Life Of Pi’erre 4 release date
The long-awaited album from the rapper-producer is out this week.
Pi'erre Bourne has officially revealed the release date of his debut studio album The Life of Pi'erre 4. The project drops June 21, a date Pi'erre had been alluding to on Twitter last week with crudely Photoshopped pics from the film Next Friday.
The Life of Pi'erre 4 will be the first full-length project from the South Carolina rapper-producer since 2016's The Life of Pi'erre 3. Since then, he's become one of hip-hop's most sought after producers thanks to collaborations with Playboi Carti such as "Woke Up Like This," "Magnolia," and almost all of 2017's Die Lit.
Bourne's production has taken a backseat in recent months in favor of his own solo career — as Carti noted in his FADER cover story, Bourne was too busy working on The Life of Pi'erre 4 to contribute much to Carti's upcoming project Whole Lotta Red. Read The FADER's Pi'erre Bourne profile here.
