Spend a day in Lil Gotit’s life in his “Now” video
The Atlanta rapper shares the first video from his upcoming It’s Crazy But It’s True album.
Lil Gotit is poised to have a huge 2019. After sharing his debut full-length Hood Baby at the end of last year, the Atlanta rapper is now gearing up to release a new project named after his enduring catchphrase, It's Crazy But It's True. "Now," a single from the upcoming project, is a statement of intent: Gotit flies high over a hypnotizing Pyrex beat.
In the video, which premieres on The FADER today, Gotit invites fans into a day in his life. In between a bunch of editing effects, he flashes money, applies a facemask, and sits in the front seat of a foreign car with fellow rising Atlanta star Lil Reek.
"I had to do a video to this mf," Gotit told The FADER over email. "It’s too hard, I had to let these folks know what’s going on. I always want my fans to see the real me. In the "Now" video, I show y’all how the HoodBabies really be chilling."
"I’m proud of this project," he said of the upcoming tape. "The Hood Baby album was the old me. I’m really giving y’all the new me on It's Crazy But It's True. I can’t wait for y’all to hear it."
