A NYPD Commander is reportedly being investigated for threatening the life of 50 Cent.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the NYPD has confirmed the comments of a Brooklyn precinct commander are under investigation. The commander reportedly told officers to shoot 50 Cent on sight during a roll call.
"The matter is under internal review," police told the publication.
Emanuel Gonzalez, who reportedly made the comments, has been with the NYPD for 30 years and remains on active duty.
50 Cent learned about the investigation after it was reported by the media. He tweeted that he is taking the reported threat "very seriously."
