Angel of Dust will take place on the streets of Shaolin.

Today, Wu-Tang Clan hit Sundance Film Festival for the premiere of Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men, a four-hour documentary that's due to hit Showtime later this year. If that wasn't enough to satisfy the itch for Wu-Tang lore, the group now also has a full-length horror movie in the works. Deadline reported today that Ghostface Killah and RZA have officially signed on to co-produce Angel of Dust alongside Shaun Redick (Get Out, BlackKklansman).

Directed and scored by RZA, the film will be a thriller inspired by the real events that led to Wu-Tang's formation a few decades back. The plot will reportedly follow a brilliant teenager named Casey who's forced to confront "not only the gangs, corrupt cops, junkies and bullies, but a serial killer with seemingly supernatural powers dubbed Angel of Dust." It'll all take place on Staten Island.

“The creative collaboration of RZA and Ghostface has stood the test of time through our music," RZA told Deadline. "Now the opportunity to put our creative energies together onto the silver screen has arisen and I’m turbo charged. Bong Bong!”
