The longstanding FADER Mix series presents new, exclusive DJ mixes from our favorite artists and producers.

Black Noi$e's first official solo release was in 2017 when he dropped his self-titled debut EP, a flurried mix of hip-hop, house, and electronica. Last year, the Detroit producer released Illusions, his debut LP, and today The FADER shares Noi$e's riveting, everything-but-the-kitchen-sink mix. He sets an ebullient tone with "Lead Me," Budgie's contemporary-flip on a worship song, before cutting directly into MIKE's mumble-y and dazed "Grabba." The transitions between tracks are stark, and hit your brain like an electric jolt reminding you to keep on listening. Midway through, the music stops for an unreleased spoken interlude by John FM which ends, with triumph, "Detroit shit, get up!"
