MIKE announces new project War In My Pen and shares new video “Prayers”

Up and coming New York rapper MIKE just announced that he'll be releasing new music to close out the year.

The new project — titled War In My Pen — will run 13-tracks and is due out on December 21. Along with the news, MIKE also dropped off a new music video called "PRAYERS" featuring fellow New Yorker Medhane on Tuesday.

The sweet, sample-based track sees the NY artist rapping over a slowed-down filter, as the dark-tinted visual moves in a similar slow motion.

Earlier this summer MIKE released Black Soap a surprise 7-track project which featured instrumentation from New York collective Standing On The Corner..
