Homeshake’s “Nothing Could Be Better” is a geometric humanoid playhouse
Helium, the fourth album from Homeshake, is out February 15.
Montreal-based musician Peter Sagar is the artist behind the quietly influential Homeshake, a project with a rare and tender heartbeat guiding the rhythm of its bedroom R&B. Ahead of the release of the fourth Homeshake album Helium, The FADER is premiering the music video for the brand new song "Nothing Could Be Better."
Like the previously released "Like Mariah," "Nothing Could Be Better" finds Sagar fully in tune with what makes his project special, and the result here is a gentle-yet-intense synth-pop love song. "Sometimes on the way to a social function you gotta ditch and hang out with your sweety instead because love is beautiful," Sagar told The FADER in an email. The video, directed by Steve Smith, is delectable to look at and just as charming, with its host of dancing humanoid shapes grooving along to the song.
