Tame Impala and Theophilus London debuted new music on Virgil Abloh’s Beats 1 show

Theo Impala is the name New York rapper Theophlius London and New Zealand rock band Tame Impala are recording under. On Saturday, October 20, two of their newly recorded tracks were debuted on Virgil Abloh's Televised Radio show on Beats 1. Both tracks, one named “Whiplash” and a cover of Steve Monite’s “Only You,” can be heard on Apple Music now.

Earlier this year Theophilus London released solo mixtape, Nights B4 BeyBey. Tame Impala, meanwhile, are working on the follow up to 2015 album Currents while frontman Kevin Parker ventures into life as a producer, woirking with SZA, Kanye, and Travis Scott among others.
