A Wu-Tang Clan show is coming to Hulu
RZA will executive produce Wu-Tang: An American Saga.
The story of the beginnings of the Wu-Tang Clan is becoming a 10-episode series at Hulu called Wu-Tang: An American Saga, as Variety reports. The episodes will chart the group's rise in early '90s New York City.
The show will be co-executive produced by Wu-Tang bandleader RZA and is created, written, and co-executive produced by Alex Tse, who wrote the recent Superfly remake. Consulting producers on Saga will include Wu-Tang members Ghostface Killa, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, GZA, and the Estate of Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
RZA is also producing a biopic based on the life of Wu-Tang Clan's late member Ol' Dirty Bastard. The film is in the works at Sony.
