Open Mike Eagle announces new album, shares “Relatable” first single

Open Mike Eagle has uploaded a terrific new single to SoundCloud, titled "Relatable (peak OME)." The track, Mike says, is "about expectations of form, anxiety, middle age and middle class. And that’s just the parts I know how to put into words a couple months after writing it." The song will appear on a new album, What Happens When I Try to Relax—stream it below.

It's the latest in a string of upcoming projects from the Los Angeles artist, including a new show with Baron Vaughn titled The New Negroes which is due to premiere on Comedy Central next year. Until then, he'll embark on a world tour, the dates of which you can check here.
