Maroon 5 will perform at Super Bowl LIII halftime show
Set for February 3rd in Atlanta.
Maroon 5 have been confirmed as the performers for 2019's Super Bowl LIII halftime show, Variety points out. Maroon 5 released their last studio album Red Pill Blues in 2017, featuring a number of performable singles, including the Cardi B-assisted smash "Girls Like You," and "Don't Wanna Know" with Kendrick Lamar.
Earlier this year, Bruno Mars — who performed at Super Bowl XLVIII — commented on the NFL's lack of a hip-hop performers in recent years, saying on Twitter that the NFL "have the opportunity to celebrate incredible Hip Hop Artist from Atlanta next year."
Super Bowl LIII is set to take place in Atlanta on February 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
