This year’s Governors Ball style was low-key as can be
As music and fashion’s favorite and foremost trendsetters took the stage, the crowd opted for chiller looks that put comfort first.
Sunday's Governors Ball line up saw two of music and fashion's foremost trendsetters take the stage — Pharrell and Lil Uzi Vert. During their respective performances, Uzi fully leaned into his do-what-I-want approach to personal style, rocking the heck out of a red leather harness. His longtime inspiration and recent collaborator Pharrell, on the other hand, went a more laidback route, sporting a simple lemon yellow-hued get up of a loose long sleeve tee, shorts, sneakers, and a hat.
It seems most attendees at the New York festival were on Pharrell's page, opting for a steezy comfort over anything else. But that didn’t mean getting a fit off was compromised — relaxed fits were accented by statement stripes and florals, mostly found on pants. Others opted for hand-painted denim, and the now-ubiquitous accent waist bag / fanny pack. Take a look at our favorite looks from day three of the Ball below.
